Hospital...

Haven't been feeling too well the past couple weeks, and have also been having trouble with my blood pressure dropping really low and passing out the last few days. Called the doctor and was sent to the hospital yesterday to get some IV fluids and to be monitored for a while. Was in the ER all day and was finally sent home around 8:00 last night, since I turned down letting the do a cat scan on my head. I didn't want to do anything that could possibly harm the baby, especially since I have have trouble with miscarriages in the past.

Today I have just been trying to relax and not do too much... been sleeping most of the day. Still feeling weak, but feel a little better than I have been. Hope things get back to normal here soon.

16 Week Appointment

So I went to the doctor today, and all went well.  My blood pressure was fine today (it was a little high last time), and I have only gained 1 lb so far (which makes me very happy) The doctor prescribed some Phenergan for my morning sickness, since it is not getting any better, so hopefully it will help. My next appointment and ultrasound is scheduled for October 7th. If baby cooperates we should be able to find out if we are going to have a little girl or a little boy that day! I can't wait!

Labor Day at the Zoo

Took the kids to the Louisville Zoo for Labor Day. Despite being crowded and being stuck in traffic for 2 hours to get there, we all had a pretty good time :)
